GAC GROUP (02238.HK) Plans to Showcase Flying Car Demonstration Operation by 2027

　　According to domestic media, Feng Xingya, general manager of GAC GROUP (02238.HK) +0.090 (+2.857%) Short selling $4.86M; Ratio 14.010% (601238.SH) +0.090 (+1.055%) , revealed at Auto Beijing 2024 that in conjunction with the creation of a low-altitude economy, GAC is researching how to better integrate flight pods with the automobile form to accelerate the industrialised implementation of the new “Flying + Car” model.

　　GAC plans to launch a demonstration operation programme for flying cars by 2027, and create a model for intercity three-dimensional travel in two to three cities in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). By then, the group will seek to help realise the 1-hour “GBA Living Circle” with its full chain of three-dimensional intelligent mobility.
