HSI opened lower but rebounded in the morning session, rising 98 points or 0.6% to close at 17,815 fro the half-day. HSCEI ascended 39 points or 0.6% to 6,363. HSTECH waned 7 points or 0.2% to 3,580. Half-day turnover totalled $47.791 billion.
