CAICT: Handset Shipments in CN Mkt Grow 13.2% YoY in 1H24, Rise 12.5% in June

　　According to an operations analysis report on the Chinese mobile phone market released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), in June 2024, 24.912 million mobile phones were shipped to the Mainland market in June 2024, rising 12.5% YoY. Among them, 22.131 million units of 5G mobile phones were shipped, a 27.8% YoY growth and accounting for 88.8% of the mobile phone shipments in the same period.

　　In 1H24, 147 million mobile phones were shipped to the Mainland market, elevating 13.2% YoY. Among them, 124 million units of 5G mobile phones were shipped, a 21.5% YoY growth and accounting for 84.4% of the total mobile phone shipments in the same period.
