CHINESE EST H (00127.HK) +0.350 (+28.226%) , after hiking nearly 6% to close last day, opened another 6.45% higher today. It once skyrocketed 35.48% to peak at $1.68, a high since November 2023. It trades now at $1.6, surging 29.03%, with 4.8065 million shares traded, involving a total of $7.0506 million.
According to the Central Clearing and Settlement System (CCASS), 230 million shares or 12.1% of the shares of CHINESE EST H were deposited into CCASS last Wednesday (19 June), which were stored in the position of BNP Paribas, with a market value of about $263 million at the closing price of $1.14 on that day.
According to CHINESE EST H's annual report, Joseph Lau and Kimbee Chan held a total of nearly 75% or about 1.431 billion shares of the company. Of these, 230 million shares were held through Joseph Lau Luen Hung Investments Limited, which is the same as the number of shares deposited into CCASS this time.
