On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Thailand to visit broker KGI as planned according to its registered regulatory address that 173 Asia Centre Building, 8th - 11th floor, South Sathorn Rd, Khwoeng Thungmahamek, Khet Satorn, Bangkok 10120.

The investigators came to 173 South Sathorn Road in Bangkok, Thailand for a visit to the broker‘s office on December 7, 2023, and located a Class-A office building Asia Centre Building in Sathorn, Bangkok’s Commercial Business District. And the building features prominently a green façade.

Upon arrival at the building for further investigation, the survey personnel spotted a directory in the lobby, which displayed that “the 8-11 floors are occupied by ”KGI Group enterprises.

However, people werent allowed to go to the working area upstairs without an access card citing the stringent security rules, according to the security guards. Consequently, the actual company size of the broker was undetermined as the inquiry team failed to pay an internal visit to the office of KGI.

Through the on-side investigation, it is confirmed that the broker has a physical presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Thailand to visit broker KGI as scheduled, and found the companys name at its regulatory address. This signifies that the broker has a physical business office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a sensible decision following a comprehensive consideration.
