A Visit to ZInvest in US - Office Found

Reason for this visit

With two major stock exchanges like NYSE and NASDAQ, the United States is home to prime stock brokers consisting of giant investment banks such as Fidelity Bank, Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan Chase, BlackRock, etc. and online brokers like Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, etc. The US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), the primary regulatory watchdog, stringently regulates the operations of stock market and brokers. Driven by the development of mobile internet technology, stock trading becomes very convenient. Individual investors are entering the market in growing numbers, presenting the situation where national people take part in stock trading. Overall, the developed and matured US stock market features high liquidity, strict regulatory environment, and relateively enhanced market confidence. In an attempt to help investors to get a more comprehensive understanding of the brokers in the US, WikiFX survey team decides to go to the country for on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit broker ZInvest as planned according to its regulatory address that 2400 E Katella Ave., Suite 725A, Anaheim, CA.

The investigators arrived at 2400 E Katella Avenue in Anaheim of California, US on November 10, 2023. An ancient commercial building features a façade integrating glass curtain wall and stones in a simple style.

After entering the building, the survey personnel spotted a lobby digital directory, where there was no information concerning Suite 725 or 725A.

And then the investigation team accessed the 7th floor of the building smoothly by lift, and saw company “Velox Clearing”, instead of “ZInvest” at the door of suite 725. However, according to the information on ZInvest website, Zinvest Financial LLC and Velox Clearing LLC are all the wholly-owned subsidiaries of Velox Holdings Inc.

Through an on-side investigation, it is confirmed that ZInvest does have a physical presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to the US to visit broker ZInvest as scheduled, and found the companys name at its regulatory address. This indicates that the broker truly has a physical business office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a judicious decision following an overall consideration.
