On-site visit
In this issue, the survey team went to Uzbekistan to visit broker Freedom Finance as planned according to its regulatory address that Republic of Uzbekistan, 100084 Tashkent, A.Temur Avenue, 107B International Business Center, Block C, 12th floor.
The investigators arrived at A.Temur Avenue in Tashkent of Toronto, the capital of Uzbekistan on December 11, 2023, and located the International Business Center, a modern commercial building in a prosperous district. The building boasts a coveted location with a steady traffic of people nearby, and there was a myriad of vehicles parking outside the structure. At the same time, it features modern premium façade comprising floor-to-ceiling glass, exuding its magnificence and grandeur.
Upon arrival at the building for further investigation, the survey personnel managed to know that the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan was located in the building. And people werent allowed to enter it due to the stringent security rules. However, according to the security guards, Freedom Finance indeed existed in the building. Unfortunately, the specific office size of the broker is unconfirmed as a result of the failure to visit its office and take photos internally.
Through the on-side investigation, it is confirmed that the broker has a physical presence at the location.
Conclusion
The survey team went to Uzbekistan to visit broker Freedom Finance as scheduled, and according to the security guards working in the building, they confirmed the existence of the company. This signifies that the broker has a physical business office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a judicious decision following an overall consideration.
